I began my nursing career when I graduated from Mott Community College in Flint, MI in 2003 with an Associates Degree in Nursing. This was just the beginning of a rewarding and fulfilling career.
In 2005, I decide to return to college and obtain a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursin. I enrolled within the RN-BSN program at Ferris State University. This program was fully online which made it attainable while I continued to work full-time. Since I enjoy the teaching aspect of nursing, I decided to return to college at Ferris State University and an enrolled in a Master's of Nursing with a concentration in Education. This experience has inspired me to encourage and support students to follow the same journey I have followed and experience a life long career of devotion to others
During my practicum experience within the Master's of Nursing program, I was fortunate to complete my required hours along side the academic nursing faculty at the University of Michigan-Flint. This opportunity provided me with the experience to be involved within the class room setting and inspired me to understand the importance of the teaching-learning relationship.
